The GDP real growth rate is projected at 5% in 2024, 4.7% in 2025 and 4.3% in 2026, Deputy Minister of Economy Iskender Askylkulov said during the parliamentary hearings on the draft of national budget for 2024 on November 3.
The GDP growth will be achieved due to growth of industry by 3.9% in 2024, 3.5% in 2025 and 1.7% in 2026; services by 5.1% in 2024, 5.1% in 2025 and 4.9% in 2025; construction by 8.5% in 2024, 8.3% in 2025 and 8.1% in 2026; agriculture by 2.5$ in 2024, by 2.5% in 2025 and by 2.7% in 2026.
Assessments of the country’s development are based on three macroeconomic scenarios of development of the Kyrgyz Republic (basic, pessimistic, optimistic). All three forecast scenarios were developed on the basis of common assumptions about the influence of external conditions and internal factors that may influence the development of the country’s economy for the current and subsequent years, the Deputy Minister said.
In 2024, mcroeconomic policies will aim to achieve a sustainable economic growth trajectory and improve well-being of citizens. The main directions and policy measures will be implemented in accordance with the guidelines defined in the National Development Strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2018–2040, the National Development Program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2026, he said.
