President Sadyr Japarov has signed the law on ratification of the grant agreement on Electricity Sector Modernization and Sustainability Project between the Kyrgyz Republic, International Bank of Reconstruction and Development, International Development Association.
The agreement was signed on January 31, 2023 in Bishkek.
The Ministry of Finance will inform the International Development Association about implementation of internal procedures by Kyrgyzstan necessary for entry of the given agreement into force.
The law becomes effective 10 days after its official publication.
The law was passed by the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan on May 25, 2023.
