The agreements for more than $1 billion were signed during the first state visit of President Sadyr Japarov to China on May 17-20, President’s Administration reported.
The following documents were signed:
– investment agreement between the Ministry of Energy and China Power International Development Limited on construction of 1000 MW solar power plant in Issyk-Kul region – 800 million Euro;
– investment agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan and Hebei Bai Dou Jia LLC on construction of mineral fertilizers plant – $260 million;
– memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Energy and Universal Energy Co. Ltd. – $100 million;
– agreement on shooting film series “Far Wind of the Silk Road” between the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sport and Youth Policy and Shaanxi Tianhan Shengdian Film Company Ltd. – $38 million;
– agreement on shooting film series “Bishkek love” between the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sport and Youth Policy and Beijing Zhongyi Boyue Culture Media Co. — $25 million.
The sum is yet to be determined under the following documents:
– agreement of intent on cooperation in export of electricity from Kyrgyzstan to China between the Ministry of Energy and TBEA;
– memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan and China Energy International Group Co. Ltd. and China Gezhouba Group International Engineering Co. Ltd.;
– memorandum of understanding between Osh Mayor Office and Hunan Junxin Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. on construction of a waste processing plant;
– agreement between Shumkar and Xian Yuanchao on establishment of vehicle assembly plant.
