      Kazakhstan has approved the rules for equipping and using video surveillance systems in prisons, pre-trial detention centers and office premises of the police, operational and investigative units of law enforcement agencies. Kyrgyzstan’s civil servants have had their bonuses paused to free up funds to pay for new UAVs it has been revealed. Daiyrbek Orunbekov, head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic’s information policy service, explained on his Facebook account why the Kyrgyz civil servants’ three-month bonus payments had been suspended. The number of unemployed citizens dropped by 5% last year in Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration said. The economically active population (workforce) made 2.68 million in 2021. The number of employed population made 2.537 million. The overall number of unemployed made 142,600 or reduced by 5%. The number of officially registered unemployed citizens made 74,700 or dropped by 1.7%. The official (registered) unemployment rate dropped and made 2.9% as of January 1, 2023.
