The Republic of Indonesia and the Kyrgyz Republic mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations on 5 April 2023. In this important occasion, the Leaders and Foreign Ministers of the two countries congratulated each other for achieving another milestones of friendly and mutually beneficial cooperation.
The President of Indonesia, H.E Joko Widodo conveyed the wishes and commitment of Indonesia to enhance the cooperation with Kyrgyzstan in various fields, both at bilateral level and in the international fora in the coming years. Meanwhile the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, H.E. Sadyr Japarov deemed Indonesia as a promising partner for cooperation in various fields, and expressed his view of the importance to strengthen and deepen the cooperation in bilateral and multilateral levels for the well- being of the two peoples and the world.
Likewise the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, H.E. Retno L.P. Marsudi expressed her confidence in both countries’ joint efforts to seize future opportunities between the two nations will continue to flourish and to explore more avenues for partnership to benefit the peoples of Indonesia and Kyrgyzstan. Similarly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, H.E. Zheenbek Kulubaev conveyed the readiness of his country to continue making necessary efforts to develop and expand the bilateral ties, including through regular dialogue and active political interaction. To that end, Foreign Minister Kulubaev also invited Foreign Minister Marsudi to pay a visit to Kyrgyzstan, and in return, expressed his readiness to visit Indonesia at a mutually convenient time.
